2010 Updates

- Colorado Highways:
- Update to Where I've Been page with my clinching of SH 392.
- Update to Northwest Parkway info about its tolling
- Update to the CDOT Toll Roads page, since CTE no longer exists and is now HPTE.
- Update to the municipal trivia page.
Had to update my discussion about Lakeside since there's no Lakeside
Mall anymore, and Castle Pines North has changed to Castle Pines.
- Colorado Freeway Exits:
- Update to Northwest Parkway toll info.
- Oops: I didn't have SH 35 shown on the I-70 or I-270 Quebec St exits.
- Changed Castle Pines North to Castle Pines on the I-25 list.

- Colorado Highways:
- Substantial update to info for SH 67, including the history of the Waters Tunnel.
- Noted on the NHS page that BL 25
and SH 67 each have an NHS section where they are concurrent with US
highways (US 160 and US 24 respectively, in this case).
- Update to Where I've Been page with a trip to Cripple Creek.
- Update to Highways trivia page tunnels section, with info on the abandoned Carlton and Waters tunnels.
- Update to County Numbering page with marker photos from Teller County.

- Colorado Highways:
- Update to the histories of US 87, SH 185, US 285 and US 287.
Pointed out by Jordan Kenning, I had some inconsistencies, which
affects all those route because their histories are wrapped up in each
other.
- Added info about the memorial designations for several highways that were made by the legislature this year.
- Update to the TRANs page.

- Colorado Freeway Exits: Update from Drew Willsey, Exit 156 on I-25
is no longer signed as Gleneagle Drive, it is now North Gate Blvd,
which makes sense because that's the street it's connected to for years
now. Also added notes for the three Springs park-n-rides: Fountain,
Tejon and Woodmen.

- Colorado Highways:
- Guide info updates to I-25, SH 150, US 160 and US 285 from my recent trip to southern Colorado.
- Fairly substantial update to guide and history info for SH 17.
- My description for the northeast end of SH 239 was totally wrong, so updated that.
- New county marker photos for Conejos, Costilla, Huerfano and Las Animas Counties.

- Was down in southern Colorado recently, so updated the Where I've Been page with new counties (4) and new clinched highways (7).
- Colorado Freeway Exits:
- Major update to the south I-25 exit list with my trip down it, seeing what all the signs say.

- Colorado Highways:
- Updated I-25 and US 34 info with the demotion of the cloverleaf interchange there to partial cloverleaf.
- Which also means I updated the list of cloverleaf interchanges in my Trivia section.
- Updated Quick Facts page with the new law madating child booster seats up to age 7, and added an explation about license plate letters.
- Colorado Freeway Exits:
- Update to the north I-25 list with the change at Loveland.

- Colorado Highways:
- Was down in Colorado Springs recently so got to clinch SH 16 and SH 21.
- Speaking of which, I had incorrectly said Wayfarer Drive was at the intersection where SH 16 and SH 21 ended at each other, turns out to not be true.

- Updates to the US 50, US 550 and SH 90 info and histories due to last month's reroute of US 50 onto the San Juan bypass in Montrose.
- Update to US 85 and SH 265 histories regarding Vasquez Blvd, thanks to Dale Sanderson.
- Comprehensive update, including new photos, to the section about the Pikes Peak Toll Road.
- Update to CDOT website links, with their new www.coloradodot.info site.

- Colorado Highways: Added short blurb to I-25 history about Trinidad viaduct reconstruction.
- Colorado Freeway Exits: The speed limit on I-76 from I-70 to 74th has been raised from 55 to 65 mph.

- Colorado Freeway Exits: Updated US 36 list due to a speed limit drop near Baseline Rd and Odeum is now know as the 1stBank Center.

- Colorado Highways:
- Did a comprehensive update of highway length data on the site
to conform to the latest CDOT route log info. Many routes changed by
fractions of a mile so were not significant, but there were several
major changes:
- CDOT is now considering more of the I-70 frontage road in Mesa County a "real" part of US 6, specifically east of the De Beque interchange.
- SH 12's east end in Trinidad does not officially reach I-25, so updated information on that to better describe.
- I had previously thought all of SH 35 in Denver had been turned back, but not true; it's still in the route log.
- The new one-way couplet pair on US 160 in Alamosa has opened, so updated for that.
- I had previously thought all of Spur 257 south of Windsor had been turned back, but not true; it's still in the route log.
- Updated the longest/shortest highways portion of the Highway Trivia page, based on the latest data.
- Updated info on the Quickfacts page about how CDOT assigns structure numbers.

- Colorado Freeway Exits: Updated US 36 since the Broomfield Event Center is now Odeum Colorado, and updated I-25 since Fiddler's Green is now Comfort Dental Amphitheater.
